LCS – One of the Three Most Important Producers of ERP Technologies on the Czech Market
The company LCS International, a.s. belongs to prominent producers of company information and economic systems in the Central-European region. After joining the multinational Asseco Group in Mai 2007 it has become the third most important Producer of ERP Systems on the Czech market.
History and Position on the Market
We have been engaged in the development, implementation and support of specialized information systems since 1990 and thanks to our broad product portfolio – Helios Orange and Helios Green – we are able to cover the needs of both smaller and mid-sized companies and large-scale and multinational corporations alike.
We expand not only within the Czech Republic (branch offices in Prague, Brno and Hradec Králové), but also abroad. In 2002 Bratislava-based LCS Slovakia was established and in the same year also LCS Deutschland in Berlin.
LCS International a. s. ranks among TOP 100 Czech IT companies and is the most important Czech producer of company applications. The LCS companies employ the staff of almost 200 and their turnover in the fiscal year 2005-2006 (18 months) totaled CZK 325 million. In 2006 LCS International was awarded the highest-grade certification by Microsoft – Microsoft Gold Partner – and it also became a holder of the ISO 9001:2000 quality certificate.
The leading position of LCS on the Czech market of ERP systems resulted in the entry of a strategic partner, the multinational group Asseco, in Mai 2007. The inclusion of LCS into the Asseco group has led to a further strengthening of our position on the market of information technologies.

Advanced Technology and International Standards
The LCS Group keeps striving to be a real leader on the market of ERP systems. Thus we always focus on the openness of the system, on its compatibility and on utilizing up-to-date technologies.
Hand in hand with the headlong technical progress in the IT sphere, the demands on the standard solutions, ability of mutual communication and guarantee of security are growing too. Therefore creating local software products, nevertheless fully on the level of international standards, remains the LCS´ mission. Microsoft Corp. is our long-term partner and this cooperation results, among other features, in orienting our products to the Microsoft .NET platform. Helios Orange and Helios Green are also integrated with other Microsoft technologies, especially with the products of MS Office and MS BackOffice family. In this way they often create the basis of the single software platform for the whole company.
The LCS products also have, as a standard, Czech, Slovak, English and German language environment, which is appreciated by both foreign managers working in the Czech and Slovak Republic and multinational corporations. Moreover, the Helios Orange and Helios Green systems support besides Czech and Slovak also German and Austrian legislature, which is why they are suitable for companies seated in Germany and Austria too. The support of US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards also goes in line with the international utilization of Helios information systems.

Besides the front-end status analysis and implementation we also train the operators and provide a comprehensive operation and consulting service. All the questions related to the offer and operation of the information systems are handled operatively by our numerous staff of the customer support division. Moreover, tens of authorized and regularly trained partners help them.
We Know, Where We Are Headed
The LCS goal is courageous – to prepare specialized IT solutions for all the significant spheres and fields, and thus to create a standard on the information technologies market. And this holds good for both the Czech and the European market. We established our first foreign subsidiaries in Slovakia and Germany and we are looking further to Europe.
