Asseco Solutions Has both Czech and Slovak Finalist This Year | 22. 10. 2010

The company Asseco Solutions has traditionally taken part in the prestigious contest IT Product of the Year, which is annually declared by the publishing house IDG. This year Asseco Solutions also sent up a product by Asseco Solutions Slovakia for the first time. Both the products – the Czech Helios Green Energy as well as the Slovak Pers-on – obtained the award “Finalist” in the contest.

The goal of the contest is to draw attention to products featuring such qualities which significantly differentiate them from competitive products of the same category. Much like in the previous rounds it was possible to enlist any product of the sphere of information and communication technologies. On evaluating the emphasis was predominantly put on the benefits of the product for a customer. In this way both generally innovative products and also products with an interesting function improvement, a significantly simplified handling or e.g. with an extraordinarily favourable price can make it to the finals of the contest.

Helios Green Energy

This is a comprehensive solution intended for companies active in the energy industries. It covers the principal processes of energy industries companies and offers its users tools for the key areas of their activities. The producers and operators of the transmission or distribution system mostly appreciate tools for enhancing the quality of production and deliveries and increasing internal effectiveness. Business companies value for their part the easy servicing of a large number of users and making use of internet tools and services, based on a reliable platform of a financial and managerial information system.

The solution contains tools and functions for a detailed registration of the processing of energy production, distribution and trading. They enable monitoring the amount of distributed energy and production costs and ensure the communication with external systems and end users including business and acquisition processes. The system covers the entire procedure of processing the information from the statement of the balances of electrometers to the invoicing based on contracts with clients and information from the market operator with an emphasis on a concrete area of the company´s activity and on the model of the Helios Green Energy application.

PERS-ON

A web application in the intranet and internet environment with a usage in business units dealing in human resources or payroll accounting (section personnel – wages). It enables loading the data for processing wages via a web portal into an ERP by Asseco Solutions as well as a technologic interconnection with any ERP in the form of web services. For organizations requiring the employee portal (section employee) it makes possible to record absences, load application forms, record travel warrants and ask for their approval. It consists of individual portlets (modules), which are standalone and mutually independent.

PERS-ON provides a bilateral communication of employees and employers (b2e). The portal makes it possible for employees to record attendance, approve various types of documents and travel warrants, obtain personnel and wage information, gain access to this information, handle selected documents and make use of the processes of approving application forms, absences or activities. Other functionalities enable efficient work via an internet explorer. The information and applications on the portal are accessible anytime and for anybody on a single spot. By this they replace various ways of processing data and communicating.
