Asseco Solutions at the World of Information Systems Again | 01. 10. 2010

The already seventh year of the most prestigious Czech industry conference – the World of Information Systems – changed its seat from Zlín to Brno. Although the locality and partially also the organizers changed, the conference maintained its superior programme level and also the pool of partners, belonging to the best of ERP producers. In view of this the tradition of the company Asseco Solutions being the general partner of this event was kept.

Specialists of ERP producers, their clients and independent experts showed their presentations within the two-day programme at the Voroněž Hotel in Brno. The company Asseco Solutions Czech Republic was represented by its general director and chairman of the board Stanislav Sýkora, who in his presentation considered the issue whether the ERP of the future heads for complexity or specialization. The second presentation by Asseco Solutions was hosted conjointly by Petr Hampl, Asseco Solutions Business Director, and Radim Jančura, Student Agency Owner. The latter company is a Helios Orange client and the common presentation focused on the theme “ERP serving tourist industry”. Both panel discussions dealt with the systems by Asseco Solutions too – the first by Lenka Chroncová, Student Agency Business Director, and the second by Stanislav Sýkora.

The participants´ attention was also drawn by the original tea bar At the (A)ssecans, operated in the anteroom of the conference by Asseco Solutions.

About the conference

The international World of Information Systems Conference is the greatest regular professional event for general public, dedicated to current topics of the sphere of company informatics and management. The conference is held annually by the Centre for the Research of Information systems – professional section of the Czech Society for System Integration, now in cooperation with the CCB publishing house, represented by the editorial board of the IT Systems magazine, and with the Entrepreneurial Faculty of the Polytechnic in Brno. The conference was organized under the auspices of Prof. Karel Rais, Polytechnic in Brno Chancellor.

The new partners sharing the organization of this prestigious event agreed on changing the traditional spring date and locality. After six highly successful years in Zlín did the conference move to Brno with the aim of assuring a better accessibility for the participants from both the Czech and Slovak Republic.

The 7^th year of the international World of Information Systems Conference 2010 was held from 16 till 17 September at the Voroněž Hotel in Brno.
