Company TULIPA Praha specialises in the wholesale of cut flowers, potted flowers, decorative greenery and florist supplies. Its aim is to offer everything that both classic florists and the most demanding florist clients need, all under one roof.

TULIPA has been one of Asseco Solutions’ satisfied clients since 2014. Its staff and management use the HELIOS iNuvio system.


TULIPA imports flowers from all over the world, especially from the Netherlands and its flower auctions in Aalsmeer, Naaldwijk and Rijnsburg. It also cooperates with flower growers from South America, Africa and other countries in Europe. That is also why it offers one of the widest assortments of cut flowers on the Czech market.

Tulipa was founded in 1990 as a family business. It now has thirty employees and emphasises a human approach, not only within the company, but also towards its customers. The company has one of the largest sales areas in the Czech Republic. The air-conditioned sales and storage boxes with cut flowers cover more than 200 square metres, the greenhouses with potted flowers more than 1,200 square metres. The company replenishes its stock, including fresh flowers, five times a week.

Customised processes.

Tulipa has been using the HELIOS system for eight years. Pavel Kusý, the company’s Executive Director, confirms that he can no longer imagine his work routine without the Asseco Solutions’ business information system. The transition to the latest version of HELIOS iNuvio took place in 2018 and needed about six months.

Working without the HELIOS iNuvio system is inconceivable now

Soon after the transfer to the new version of the system, it was evident that the benefits of Helios iNuvio for business processes are high. The control of goods has become more efficient, the system provides an overview of the purchase price of goods, including related costs, and can correctly calculate sales prices. The company uses modules and features such as Business Partners, Warehouse, Purchasing and Sales, Invoicing, Cash Register, Bank, Payroll, Accounting, etc. Pavel Kusý says he also appreciates the custom import of documents. The direct positive impact on the company’s operations has been seen in the monitoring of goods circulation, and the reduction of errors in the dispensing of goods, which has also been accelerated.
